Taste Buds
Pão Doce stands for sweet bread, which is a very nice name indeed. Why exactly would I speak about a bakery? Well, because Portuguese have something to do with good bakeries around the world, and that’s not for any reason, Portuguese are really good bakers, and this bakery is the perfect example of this ability.
Juicy, bloody, fresh, soft, tender. The steak here in Argentina is to die for (so I've heard). I'm not a meat eater. I know, crazy right? I currently reside in the meat eating capital of the universe. It seems a sin that my mouth refuses to water at the mere mention of lomo or entraña or bife de chorizo. An average Argentinian eats approximately 155 pounds of beef each year (that's like my boyfriend eating the equivalent of 1.3 me's!). Vegetarianism is definitely not cool here. Actually, most people think it's just plain silly.

To all chocoholics: If you are looking for the ultimate Swiss-chocolate experience, forget about “Toblerone” and indulge yourself at this chocolate café!
A leisurely tram ride will take you from town into Carouge, a quaint and small ”suburb” built in the 18th century by Turinese architects. The tiny chocolate shop, located at Place de l’Octroi, offers a fine selection of delicious, home made Pralinés. Spoil yourself to an assortment or treat your family and friends with one of the gift boxes (variety of sizes and packages available). Quality has its price (10 Fr. for a 100gr) but it is worth the spend!

Streetfood is one of those things that can add swagger to a neighborhood. Funky and cool, streetfood joints add a unique touch through their food. If Seattle has one thing that it can improve on, it’s streetfood. There is one option (which is supposed to be awesome), but after that it’s a bunch of taco trucks. This is where Portland has us beat.
