Picture this: waking up at 4 am to go on a tour into the Atacama desert in Chile. It’s freezing, minus 10 degrees Celsius! I put on everything – and that means everything – I have in my backpack and two borrowed jackets. I look like a Michelin puppet and I can hardly move. But it’s all for a good cause: I’m off to see the flamingos at Salar de Atacama, the salt lakes of the Atacama desert in Chile.
This is a shot I took while enjoying this beautiful part of Chile. How lucky am I that these two birds stand close to each other with nothing else around. Their long legs into the water, so you can see their reflection! And the colours of the setting are amazing. http://iturl.nl/snJFb

I bought my first digital SRL camera when I went to Peru in 2005. Since then, I cannot imagine traveling without my camera. The pictures I bring back, bring back memories. And to me that is a very important way to savour special moments.
In my photography there is room for the story with its atmosphere and details. Because of this, the subject is captured for life in a catchy and beautiful picture. A picture that brings back memories.
My work is charachterized by - Detail - Atmosphere - Colour.
I've developed into a professional photographer. I have an extensive travelportfolio. I also work on corporate and private assignments, such as portraits, weddings, assignments for WWF Netherlands and NOC*NSF (Dutch Olympic Committee).

Hello,
I have been lucky to photograph in many countries. I am currently living and working in Cambodia, before here I spent three years in Morocco restoring an old house and photographing the people. I have lived in Europe where I was fortunate to travel and photograph sights and people.
