About me

Greetings! My name is Celina Kareiva and I’m an aspiring journalist, globetrotter and storyteller. I'm currently finishing my final year of undergraduate at the University of Washington, and am beginning to shape the next stage of my career and life. A journalist to the core, I love the detail-oriented process of collecting information and crafting a story. While I'm still finding my niche within the field, I enjoy the challenge of working with passionate, interesting people in an ever-changing environment.

In my free time I can also be found cooking, sketching, writing short stories and making documentaries with my brother and good friend. I also hope to travel more as I wrap up my final year of university. I most recently returned from an inspiring trip to Zambia.
