About me: I'm a writer who decided to stick it out in Seattle after doing a year of service with City Year, teaching suspended Middle School students, but I'm still an Arizona desert rat at heart.

I attended school at UC San Diego and spend most of my free time traveling and exploring.

I like finding random crazy things around me and will often go out of my way to try a new experience or follow a shiny object. While this makes for great writing experiences it is not the most evolutionary advantageous trait and has gotten me into trouble once or twice... I tend to end up in the emergency room every six months like clockwork.
